Serving Communities

Through Food Distribution

S.W.I.M. partners with Hope United to work with and support many other various 501(c)(3) ministries, churches and organizations by equipping them with food, goods, and supplies to empower and enhance their mission in serving their local communities. We currently serve primarily in the SWMO and NWA regions, but look forward to expanding our territory!

Through our involvement with these organizations and the programs they have in place, we help serve seniors, at-risk youth, abuse victims, homeless, recovery and rehabilitation programs, minorities, un/underemployed, refugees, veterans, single parents, and others who have been displaced.  This high impact is achieved by S.W.I.M. partnering with already-established outreach organizations that are known and trusted in their communities as points of contact for people in need.

S.W.I.M.’s Impact

S.W.I.M., alongside Hope United, distributes an average of $4 million worth of food and goods every year. We supply these products to other ministries, churches, and nonprofit organizations in Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas and surrounding regions. Every dollar sown has a multiplied value of $45 worth of food and goods distributed.

In addition to food, goods can include but are not limited to: personal care items, laundry detergent, paper goods, furniture, building supplies, vehicles, medical equipment, bedding (sheets, blankets, mattresses, etc.), and much more!

Community Support

S.W.I.M. was established in 2003 as a support ministry to our community.  Our purpose is to assist other ministries, churches, and nonprofit organizations by enhancing the Kingdom work that they are called and set apart to do.

Our assignment is to obtain food and goods and distribute them to those who have established programs in place to help those in need.  We have been known to travel as much as four hours away to receive contributions so we can redistribute them to ministries and organizations locally and in surrounding regions.

We are currently working alongside Hope United to begin Phase 1 of a new 80,000 sq ft warehouse. Phase 1 will be 20,000 sq ft, which will enable us to greatly increase our distribution activities to a new, elevated level. We currently average $4 million in food and goods each year with only 3,000 sq ft, so imagine what we can do with 20,000! This will allow us to work with larger distributors both locally and nationwide.
